OPTION 1: VUNG TAU CITY TOUR (5 hours)
Time: 6 hours with lunch
Pick up guests at Ho Tram. Drive to Vung Tau city (50 km from Ho Tram) for sightseeing around Vung Tau city. Drive up to the small hill for enjoying over view of Vung Tau and visit Vung Tau Lighthouse (for small group). On the way, stop for Photo- taken at The Jesus statue – which is one of the biggest Jesus statues in the World. Then visit Niet Ban Tinh Xa pagoda with the famous of 12 meter – Lying Buddha statue which made of marble. Traveling along a beautiful bonsai garden of the Front beach then, visit the White Palace (Villa Blanche) built in 1898 was also called King Palace and then visit the city Museum. Continue your trip via Ben Dinh fishing village; passing the some the main street in the city center. Then visit the Whale temple to find out local custom. Have lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, go to Coop Mart super market for shopping. Take back to Ho Tram. Tour is end.
OPTION 2: VISIT VUNG TAU BY SPEED BOAT (Time: 6 hours with lunch)
Pick up guest from Ho Tram, drive to the port (50 km from Ho Tram), get on speed boat and do the 1 hour boat trip tour. We go along the coast of Vung Tau, Ganh Rai bay and part of Cha Va river, you can enjoy very nice view and see the oil rig, the Vietnam coast guard modern ships and visit local floating fish farms and oyster farms. The car will pick you up and continue to visit art stone gallery. Have lunch at local restaurant with local food, After lunch, we spend time to shopping at super market and the visit Long Phuoc tunnel complex to get information about Vietnam war. Back to Ho Tram. Tour is end.
OPTION 3: NUI DAT – LONG TAN – LONG PHUOC TUNNEL –– LONG HAI HILL
Time: full day with lunch
Pick up guests at Ho Tram. Go to Hoa Long village to visit Nui Dat – where Australian soldiers set up the base in 1966 and it was the biggest Australian Task Force Base in Viet Nam during the Vietnam war. Visit the old Artillery rock, Artillery’s old bunkers, Kangaroo pad, SAS hill (Nui Dat hill), Lusbcome air field, the battalion’s Flag pole, Nui Dat Kindergarten which is built by Australian Vietnam Volunteer resources Group for children in the village in 2002 and reopen in 2010. Going to Long Tan village to visit the Long Tan Cross which was re-built by Australian veterans for 18 Australian soldiers who gave their life at the battle of Long Tan in 18 August 1966; then The Horse shoe- fire support base and mine field was; visit Long Phuoc Tunnel complex to find out tunnel system and the life of Vietnamese soldiers in the tunnel back then. Have lunch at Local restaurant. After lunch, we will drive up to Long Hai hill to visit some caves where were head quarter of Vietnamese soldiers in the war time. About 3pm, back to Ho Tram. Tour is end.
